Théophane is the lead of the Nix group at Tweag/Modus Create by day, and a NixOS Foundation board member by night. He has been working as a consultant in functional programming for the past few years before turning to build systems, then Nix and the Nix community. He is active there both at the technical level (active contributor and maintainer of Nix) and the organizational one through the Foundation. Having suffered from brittle and painful setups in many different places, He is now passionate about improving the reliability and ergonomics of developer environments wherever he can.
