In 2002 Eddy started with Java and got addicted to it. Working for more then 20 years in the financial world as a Java Developer, he switched in 2023 to become an Engineering Manager. With his experience he inspires his team members and colleagues in development.One of his teams is busy to setup an observability stack within the 11 countries that NN operates. Using SAAS tools but also with custom made Java tools we slowly setup a great stack.Next to his work is Eddy boardmember of the Devoxx4kids Netherlands foundation. He coaches children between 8 and 14 on Devoxx4Kids days but also on primary and secundary schools.
