With more than 25 years of experience developing application using Java or Scala, Joost is an seasoned developer who loves to share knowledge and experience. He enjoys learning new things ranging from languages to DevOps, electronics and 3d printing. He is very into IoT and electronics. His house is full of it.After working at several companies, Joost works as a contractor since 2009 and has worked for companies like the Dutch National Bank, Bol.com, Marktplaats and Philips. He is the organiser of the '073 Developers BeerChat’ meetup group. Currently he works at a large logistics company working on a smart charge / energy management solution for thousands of electric vans and trucks.
