This interactive session discusses what DevOps in 2025 really is. We explore why and how to leverage DevOps, and relate it to other concepts, e.g. SRE and digitalization. While the host offers both, 20 years of DevOps experience as well as an academic background in research on DevOps, everybody is called to actively participate in this session. The community can engage to bring up specific questions, and share good practices and pitfalls. Warning: The last time this BOF was delivered at Devoxx was 2017. Michael Hüttermann
Dr. Michael Hüttermann is a Principal Delivery Engineer. Michael supports large enterprises' digitalization initiatives. He has written a couple of books including “DevOps for Developers” and “Agile ALM” and has given talks at leading conferences (e.g., JavaOne, Devoxx) since the early years of this millennium.
