# Devoxx & VoxxedDays Companion

> Devoxx is a developer conference series created in 2001 by Stephan Janssen
> and renamed from JavaPolis in 2008. Editions run yearly across Belgium,
> France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Morocco and Greece, drawing over 20,000
> developers each year. VoxxedDays are smaller, community-driven editions
> held in cities worldwide. This is the official companion for both series.

URLs follow the pattern `/events/{eventSlug}/...` where `{eventSlug}` identifies
a single conference edition (for example a Devoxx Belgium edition or a
VoxxedDays Amsterdam edition). Talks and speakers add their own id and slug:
`/events/{eventSlug}/talks/{talkId}/{talkSlug}`.
