Building and Deploying a Multi-Agent AI Game Master with TypeScript

This talk presents the design of a privacy‑preserving, local‑first personal assistant that syncs family data across devices. It details using TanStack Start for shared logic, cloud for background sync, and on‑device small language models for private, low‑latency AI—offering a blueprint for secure, efficient mobile AI architecture.

talks.description
Ever wondered how you can create AI agents with different roles and let them collaborate? In this session, we’ll build a multi-agent system that creates and runs an adventure campaign.

We’ll start from scratch on learning the basics of Agents, how to create a simple agent and end up creating a Game Master storyteller, that could explore game rules, create characters, roll the dice and pivot with your story for multiple players.

We’ll explore how MCP servers act as magical tools. How you can expand the knowledge of your Agents through Vector Databases and Knowledge Bases. Learn multi-agent architecture, TypeScript patterns using tools, MCP integration, and best practices for orchestrating multiple AI models.

No adventure game experience required, just bring your curiosity for AI and love of TypeScript!
