Alexander, a 34-year-old Software Engineer at JDriven, holds dual Dutch and Greek nationality. He earned his master’s degree in Game Studies from the University of Amsterdam, where he discovered his passion for gamification and software engineering. Alexander aims to bridge the gap between game development and software engineering, believing that both industries have much to learn from each other. He is dedicated to integrating technologies and methodologies from both fields. Additionally, he enjoys experimenting with new technologies and cutting-edge sdk's.

Alvaro Berruga
I'm Alvaro, a mainly frontend developer with 10 years of experience. I work at ThousandEyes (part of Cisco) as a Tech Lead in a product called Endpoint agent. I'm a passionate about programming since I was 12 and two of my biggest motivations are to learn and solve complex problems. These motivations took me to San Francisco seven years ago, where I discovered my love for the frontend. I'm now based in London but I still love spending hours talking about the frontend ecosystem, and especially about Vue.

Before that he did developer relations for open-source feature flags (Unleash) and Contentful.Before all that, he was a lead engineer for Dow Jones at the Wall Street Journal and had various front-end roles for about 8 years. He’s happiest working on visual challenges with designers.

Starting as an engineer and growing into a senior leader, Anand has worked on everything from technology strategy to implementation. Anand is passionate about building diverse, high-performing teams and prioritizes their growth and well-being. Andres is a Java/Groovy developer and a Java Champion with more than 20 years of experience in software design and development. He has been involved in web and desktop application development since the early days of Java. Andres is a true believer in open source and has participated on popular projects like Groovy, Griffon, and DbUnit, as well as starting his own projects. Andrzej Grzesik
ags likes distributed systems in all shapes and form. Coding since the age of 8, loves simplicity and continuous delivery. While he has written in many languages, he favours the JVM. Since „most software problems are people problems”, he stirs communities, organizes and speaks at conferences (proud to be a JavaONE Rockstar!). With permanent 55% hearing loss in both ears, he’s a testament to the power of determination and hard work which often speaks louder than words. Ben is a Technical Principal at Softwire, where he has worked for 10 years since graduating in Chemistry (and deciding that software was a stronger calling than lab work). He’s led teams on a variety of domains and technical challenges, ranging from genetic matching algorithms to certifying televisions for BBC iPlayer. Ben’s passion is ensuring work is an experience you relish, and focuses on building teams where everyone can bring their whole self to work and have a great time. Ben Evans is an author, architect and educator. He is currently Observability Lead and Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat Runtimes.Previously he was Lead Architect for Instrumentation at New Relic, and co-founded jClarity, a performance tools startup acquired by Microsoft. He has also worked as Chief Architect for Listed Derivatives at Deutsche Bank and as Senior Technical Instructor for Morgan Stanley. He served for 6 years on the Java Community Process Executive Committee, helping define new Java standards.He is a Java Champion and 3-time JavaOne Rockstar Speaker. My path at my current company started as an analyst programmer in different areas (business oriented and also more technical tasks). I have also been working on DevOps and development support duties, until my current position as a Security Architect. I am passionate about cybersecurity and love to engage into all sorts of conversations to share my experiences and also to learn from others.My focus is primarily around application, API & product security, B2B and other third-party integrations, authentication & authorization processes. Brian Vermeer
Staff Developer Advocate for Snyk, Java Champion, and Software Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience in creating and maintaining software. He is passionate about Java, (Pure) Functional Programming and Cybersecurity. Brian is a JUG leader for the Virtual JUG and the NLJUG. He also co-leads the DevSecCon community and is a community manager for Foojay. He is a regular international speaker on mostly Java-related conferences like JavaOne, Devnexus, Devoxx, Jfokus, JavaZone and many more. Before joining Elastic in 2022, she spent over 10 years as a technologist at a large investment bank, specialising in front-end web development and agility.
