Dirk has been a Java developer for almost 30 years. He is a Java Champion, and JavaOne Rockstar. His main focus is on frontend development via JavaFX. He holds the position of a VP of Software Engineering at Senapt Ltd, a company developing cloud-based solutions for the UK Energy Market. Dirk is the main project lead of the “JFXCentral” website and also the organiser of several “JFXDays” developer conferences in Zurich. Dirk supports the JavaFX open source community via several projects that provide a plethora of custom controls.
