Edge AI, Federated Learning, and IoT: Perfect match ?

Is Edge AI, Federated Learning, and IoT a perfect match? In this session, we'll look at how these technologies work together to make IoT smarter. We'll see how running machine learning directly on devices (Edge AI) enables fast, local decisions. Then, we'll explain Federated Learning – the approach where many distributed devices (like sensors or cameras) can collectively improve an ML model by sharing only model updates, keeping everyone's raw data private and local. You'll learn how this combination addresses real challenges: cutting delays, strengthening privacy, and creating new applications where sending everything to the cloud isn't practical. The session will include a demonstration using TensorFlow.
