If you've ever worked with legacy Redux code, you know the struggle: boilerplate everywhere, verbose action creators, connected components with parameters that give you a headache just by reading them… all of it, just to pass some state! And yet, many developers still deal with this daily, working on legacy projects, feeling like Redux is nothing but pain and suffering.

But what if I told you there's a way out?
Enter Redux Toolkit: the modern, officially recommended approach to Redux that eliminates boilerplate and even offers data fetching and caching capabilities, thanks to RTK Query.

In this live coding session, we'll start with a classic Redux project, with manually written action types, reducers and connected components, and gradually evolve it into a modern RTK-powered app. By the end of the talk, you'll know how to migrate legacy Redux to RTK, and understand why you should.
